Went ice fishing with James and Kevin on Castle Rock lake for two days. My Group of 4 people had a great time on the ice. James worked hard in the cold weather making sure we had everything we needed to be successful and put us on the fish. My ATV had a weak battery and struggled to start in the negative temperatures. James ran to town to pick up a new battery so we could stay fishing. Great guys and great customer service! going to be using Scenic Bluffs in the coming year again for Bear Hunting and land consulting. (5 stars on Google).

The main reason I booked a hunt with Scenic Bluff Outfitters is the opportunity to hunt as long as I could in order to get a bear. My first bear hunt ended successfully but very quickly. I’m definitely not complaining about that, but I was honestly looking forward to spending time in the woods. I hunted 5 days before getting a chance to get a bear. It’s just what the doctor ordered. If I hadn’t been successful, I would have been welcomed back until season’s end.

James and his guys ran an organized camp with plans on improving the operation going forward. The baits were active and the tree stands were comfortable. Each night a delicious meal was provided. The guys were knowledgeable and answered any questions they were asked.

James, Kevin, Neil and Kole went above and beyond retrieving my bear. James said good night to me at 1 am after we dropped my bear off at Brock’s 24 hour drop off cooler.

I was welcomed back the next weekend when I picked up my meat. I hung out and helped with baiting and placing hunters. It added to the overall experience. I will definitely be back hunting with Scenic Bluff Outfitters.
